CHARM OF A SMALL TOWN FEEL WITH THE CONVENIENCE
AND AMENITIES OF MUCH LARGER CITIES
Lakeland Florida is Centrally located between Tampa and Orlando. Lakeland offers residents and visitors a wide variety of sports, entertainment, cultural and educational opportunities. Lakeland is the heart of Polk County and it is Lakeland’s charm that creates a beautiful blend of a small town feel with the convenience and amenities of much larger cities.

Steve, The bricks were part of a fundraiser that was done years ago when the city redeveloped our downtown. The names that you see are those who believed in downtown when it was mostly abandoned and they had a motto of if you build it they will come. Build they did and business and people soon...

We have been to Longhorn on numerous occasions and 75% of the time, we've had to send back the

steaks for being under-cooked or over-cooked. But I can say this: Longhorn should hang onto its managers, specifically Angela and Mark. Their professionalism is second to none, and Mark has a way of keeping his cool even in the most hectic of situations. We have gotten more free meals from Longhorn because of their cooking mishaps, but it's because they strive to get it right eventually. We still go to Longhorn occasionally, but we usually order shrimp or chicken now.

If I could give it 10 stars, I would! Food is fantastic... quick

service...friendly wait staff...managers make things right if it's not perfect (and it usually IS perfect)....the shrimp and scallops Orleans w/ the fried grit cake is my favorite. They recently redid the menu and got rid of a few favorites, added some new ones, and raised the prices. ;o( To me, the appetizers are a bit pricey (avg. $7-9.99) but the quality is second to none. When we win our lottery scratch offs is about the only time we can afford to dine here nowadays.... count on spending at least $40 (with tip) for dinner for two.
